Struggling with his desire, he tells himself he doesn’t deserve a second chance with such an amazing woman.

When her friends urge her to re-enter the world of the living, they suggest Madame Eve’s 1Night Stand dating service. Nervous, she signs up and learns the company is renown for in-depth background checks and safe encounters. So, how dangerous could it be?

Sergeant Bobby Martin has witnessed Madame Eve’s magic firsthand. His teammate found true love through her service. Still a skeptic but giving in to peer pressure, the Air Force Pararescueman signs himself up. When he meets Siobhan, his doubts fly out the window—unfortunately bullets start flying in them. Determined to protect her from a sniper that won’t give up, Bobby vows to keep her safe. As their chemistry ramps up, so does the sniper’s attempts.

Can Bobby keep Siobhan alive, or will the killer catch them in his sights?

Book 3
Explosive Conditions

Staff Sergeant Zeke “Diz” Matthews never forgot the woman he rescued from a burning boat. She invades his dreams at night and thoughts of her distract his days. Fed up with his cranky change in demeanor, his teammates urge him to take advantage of Madame Eve's 1Night Stand dating service.

Kaci Phillips needs to start a new life. But she struggles to move on from the horrific event that claimed her whole family. When she reconnects with the sexy Air Force pararescueman who saved her six months earlier, the weight she's been carrying at last lifts.

What begins as a hot, frenzied night of passion in each other’s arms ends with gunfire, blood, and the threat of death. With the odds stacked against them, can Zeke and Kaci defuse such explosive conditions?

Book 4
Do No Harm

Air Force Pararescuman, Junior Lieutenant Kyle “Raven” Alvarez has seen it all. After three years as the team’s medic, he’s been up to his elbows patching back together the worst humanity has to offer, overseas and stateside. So, when his teammates set him up for a date through Madame Eve’s 1Night Stand service, he jumps at the chance. But under no circumstances will he end up like Colin, Bobby, and Zeke...with a ring on his finger and a lifelong commitment. Just one night of hot, sweaty no-strings-attached sex, and he’ll be good to go. Besides, Madame Eve found three perfect matches already. He’s in the clear, right?

Dr. Melissa Anne Carter has dedicated her life to saving people. Especially the innocent victims of rampant gang violence that come through her Emergency Department. Then out of the blue, her long-forgotten application to 1Night Stand is answered. Madame Eve has found her perfect match. Maybe a night in the arms of a man who can make her body sing will help her forget all the horror she’s witnessed and lives she couldn’t save. At least for a little while.

But destruction at the hands of a madman has never hit so close to home, becoming more personal than ever. And when a man with a penchant for explosives vows revenge by abducting Melissa, the oath she took to Do No Harm takes on new meaning. Can Kyle and his team save the good doctor before the timer runs out—literally?

Book 5
Third Time's the Charm

Twice, Senior Airman Jason Moore let The Fixer, a maniacal bomber who’s fixated on destroying the Pararescue team, slip through his fingers. Last time, he was the hero for holding the killer captive. Now, he’s the goat for letting the guy escape…again.

He’s got it bad….

Every member on the team has found love through Madame Eve, but Jason dreams of hooking up with the sexy FBI agent who stormed in with a warrant for his laptop. He can’t get the curvy Black-Irish federal agent—or the Glock she pointed in his face—out of his thoughts. Ghost, Bobcat, Diz, and Raven, they all say she’s out his league. Handing him Madame Eve’s card, they tell him he needs to get his head out of his...well, you know, and back in the game. Fine, Madame Eve it is.

She’s got it bad....

Special Agent Flynn Carmody has been focused on her career since the day she joined the Bureau. She doesn’t have time for the picket fence, 2.4 kids, or the minivan...or, for that matter, falling in love. She spends every waking moment keeping the country safe. When her partner comments that she’s wound so tight she just might just pop and suggests a one-night stand, she decides he may be right. A single encounter of hot, sweaty, no-strings-attached sex might help relieve her pent-up stress and help her focus on getting her career back on track.

Everything’s going bad....
When Jason and Flynn at last meet, passion explodes—along with almost everything else around them. The Fixer has plans for the couple. After all, he has a reputation to uphold, which means people must die. It’s what he’s paid to do, and he’s very good at his job. But with Flynn at Jason’s side, can they bring the bad guy down and prove Third Time’s the Charm?

Does a Pararescueman Wear Boxers or Briefs?

Debbie: Welcome Readers! We're here to interview Kyle and Melissa from our latest release Do No Harm.
L.J.: Yes, welcome! Let's get this rolling. I'm anxious to see what they have to say.
Debbie: Okay, okay, I’m going first and my first question is for Kyle. So, Kyle, what was your very first impression of Lis?
Kyle: I thought she was beautiful.
Debbie: Are you sure that was your FIRST impression?
Kyle: Yes ma’am.
Debbie: (turns to L.J.) Would you like to remind him of his first impression?
L.J.: As I recall, you thought she was a, and I quote, “Damn punk.”
Kyle: Well, she did call me a Neanderthal.
L.J.: And I believe you insulted her....
Kyle: I didn’t know she was doctor. She had that kid, and it looked like. And she--
Debbie: Didn’t you say something about her inappropriate attire?
Kyle: Yes. I told her to get dressed. I mean, she was out in front of everyone in a skimpy red bra. If I was looking, I know every other guy there was, too!
L.J.: And then you said “But let the professionals handle the rest. We don’t need you accidentally hurting someone more because you don’t know what you’re doing.”
Kyle: I told you that was before I she told me she was a doctor.
Debbie: I think she called you something back in return. Hmmm. What was that?
Kyle: I don’t remember.
L.J.: I do. She said, “Professionals? You look like one of those professional male strippers.”
Debbie: Honestly, I think Lis was right.
L.J.: Hmm. I don’t know. How can we know for sure? (snaps fingers) I know. Take your shirt off!
Debbie: Yes! Great idea.
L.J.: Debbie, get your cell phone and crank up the tunes. He’ll need to move around a bit for us to be sure.
Debbie: Done! And here are some dollar bills (stuffs money in L.J.’s hand).
L.J.: Uh, Debbie. What are you doing with 50 one-dollar bills in your purse?
Debbie: Walking around money. You never know when you might need a dollar for something. (cranks up -Sexy and I know It.)
L.J.: Alllrighty then! (waves a couple dollars in the air) Okay, Kyle! Get that shirt off and shake your booty!
Kyle: Okay, okay, okay. You’ve made your point. I was an ass.
Lis:  (sitting next to Klye clapping) Thank you, Ladies.
Debbie: Well, to be fair, you were sitting there in the middle of all that chaos with no shirt, a bright red bra and a purple streak in your hair. Anyway, what was your very first impression of Kyle?
Lis: That he was a condescending neanderthal.
Debbie: He kinda was, wasn’t he?
Kyle: What is this, trash Kyle day?
L.J.: (Tosses him a twinkie.) Of course not Kyle. We love you.
Debbie:So guys, in your story, we are still chasing this psycho bomber. Lis, did you know you were a target?
Lis: I had no clue. I mean I’d obviously had heard of him. I was there when he set another bomb off. But I’d had no clue that I had become his target.
Debbie. But Kyle saved the day.
Lis: You could say that.
Kyle: What? You’re alive, aren’t you? I so saved your cute ass.
Lis: You did. But the process wasn’t exactly pain-free.
Kyle: Not like I had a lot of choice. And it beats the alternative. I’d do it again, just like that. Anything to keep you with me.
Lis: Awww. You’re a big softie. (she leans over to smooch Kyle)
Debbie: True love at its finest!
L.J.: Okay! So, time for the lightning round. We’ll take turns asking a questions. You each answer.
Debbie: Ready?
(Lis and Kyle nod)
L.J.: Dog or Cat?
Lis: Dog
Kyle: Dog
Debbie. Chocolate or Vanilla?
Lis: Chocolate
Kyle: Both
L.J.: Romantic night out?
Lis: Rather stay in and have him cook for me.
Kyle: Beach, blanket, and a bottle of wine.
Debbie: Surf and turf or Lasagna
Lis: A salad. I’m trying to eat healthy.
Kyle: <snorts> Yeah, right. And you can call me Ishmael.
Lis: Okay, Ishmael. What about all those Twinkies you eat all the time?
Kyle: I’m not the one denying I like sweet treats. Course, you’re my favorite sweet treat, darlin’.
Lis: Well, which do you like, then? Surf and turf or lasagna?
Kyle: Both. With you for dessert.
L.J.: Ahem. Briefs or boxers?
Lis: Briefs
Kyle: Commando
Lis: Can I change my answer?
Debbie: Apple pie or cheesecake
Lis: Cheesecake.
Kyle: Twinkies.
L.J.: Well, I’m sure no one saw that one coming.
Debbie: I did.
L.J.: Okay! Thanks for visiting with us today, Lis and Kyle. I’m sure we have a blurb and excerpt around here somewhere for our readers.

Excerpt:
“You need to move along, folks. Leave the roads clear for emergency vehicles.”
“I’m a doctor,” she told him. “I work here. Was called in.” She reached in her purse, pulled out her badge, and handed it to him.
“Just a minute.” The officer stepped back and spoke into his com mic.
She twisted toward Kyle. “Call me in a few hours. I’ll know more about what’s going on.”
“I will.” His gaze shifted over her shoulder for a second then he squeezed her hand. “I hate for you to go into something like that without me.”
“I’ll be all right.” I just hope my coworkers are. “It’s what I’m trained to do.”
“I know.” Drawing her hand to his lips, he kissed her knuckles as he met her gaze in the dim light. “Lis, I like you. A lot. Tonight was just the beginning if you feel the same way.”
Her heart stuttered. Can he know so soon? “I do.” She leaned into him, and his hand wrapped around the back of her head, pulling her in for a deep toe-curling, tongue-tangling, fire-in-the-pit-of-your-stomach kiss. Damn, the man knows how to say good-bye. “Wow.”

EXCERPT:
....Glancing up, he nodded to the captain in the pilothouse, who returned the gesture and gave him a friendly smile. Zeke tied off the tender, stepped onto the swim platform, and made his way up to a shaded teak deck.
....He bit back the urge to whistle. As far as boats went, this one was impressive. He entered the ship’s interior and pushed his sunglasses up on his head. Crisp white linen covered a table to his right. In the center, a silver bucket with ice chilled a bottle of champagne, and two crystal flutes flanked the bubbly.
....Nice.....A quick scan of the rest of the room left him with the impression of lavish comfort. Somehow, the mix of gold colors and warm-toned wood eased his angst. Yeah, he shouldn’t let the location of his one-night stand detract from his blind date. Who gave a crap if the boat reminded him of Kaci? His mission was to get laid, so he could clear his head and move on.
....Beyond the room divider, he noticed the end of a bar. Was there a bottle of Scotch stocked back there? Because he sure could use a shot to take the edge off. As he rounded the partition, he stumbled to a stop. A petite woman with short red hair stood at the bar with her back to him. The plush carpet must have masked his approach because she tapped her fingernails on the granite counter, offering no sign of being aware of him.
....His gaze dipped below her copper strands to her backless dress. Damn. All that creamy skin sent lust jolting through him. Not to mention the way the black fabric hugged her like a wet suit, displaying one mighty fine looking ass. The hemline stopped mid-thigh, and at the very bottom of her long, toned legs, stilettos graced her feet, adding at least four inches to her height. Oh yeah, he could work with that.
....He cleared his throat. “Uh, hi. My name’s Zeke. It’s a pleasure to meet you.” The redhead turned to face him, and the blood rushed from his head. Sea green eyes met his. Shock rolled through him with such force, his whole axis tilted.

Crack that Whip Girl!

Debbie: Oh stop your blushing, I’m not spilling any of your secrets…yet…

Laura: What? I don’t have any secrets. You’re the one with the hip boots, chickie!

Debbie: I meant the writing whip, and for your info, I don’t have hip boots. We haven’t taken up waterfowl hunting yet.

Laura: Riiiight.

Debbie: Okay, so I guess its pony up time or whatever that saying is. We fell WAY below our goal last year. Granted our goal may have been a tad bit aggressive.

Laura: Yeah, probably. But at least we got ONE book out.

Debbie: As opposed to the ten we wanted, lol. But we need to do soooo much better. We do have three stories in progress, I just feel that with the slow down from holidays and this rotten cold I’ve had for six weeks that its hard getting that momentum back.

Laura: Hmm…and now I’ve got that cold. You sent it to me, didn’t you?

Debbie: Hey, I’m all about sharing. Anyway, I know we’ve never cranked ‘em out the way some do. We have our own quirky methods, and I wonder if it’s different for those of us that co-author. Well, I guess it would be, but maybe we can brainstorm some ideas to get our butts in gear and share for others that might find them helpful.

Laura: So what are you talking, like a list or something? Ooo, I like lists!

Debbie: *eye roll* This I know. Sure, a list is fine if that makes you happy. Go…Now…I’m timing you.

Laura: Ummm.

#5 Step away from the pastries.

Debbie: Pastries? That’s the awesome advice we are going with?

Laura: I don’t know about you, Deb, but I find it darn difficult to type anything with a bearclaw in one hand. That single-finger poking one key after another really cuts down on my daily word count.

Debbie: Oh good God, really? Just shove it in and get back to work. No need to nibble.

Laura: Good gosh! You would do that to a bearclaw? Just muck it down like it was a… a… a common donut? You’d probably slam down a cheese Danish, too. One bite. Gone. A bearclaw needs to be savored, enjoyed…as does a cheese Danish. Cramming it in your mouth in a single bite is just…wrong. I can’t believe this information didn’t come to light earlier. Color me shocked!

Debbie: Cheese Danish???  I think I just threw up in my mouth. A donut is a donut is a donut. No need to get all orgasmic over it. Moving on! What about music? Does that work on getting you motivated?

Laura: What? I’m still distracted by the image of you with an entire bearclaw in your mouth. Your cheeks are puffed out and when you talk little bits of bearclaw shoot out. OMG! You’re choking. I have to do the Heimlich and save you!

Debbie: I don’t talk with my mouth full, my mamma taught me some manners. And you’re in Alabama, darling. How you gonna manage the Heimlich.

Laura: See, I already knew how awesome your mamma is, which is why I was so shocked to see those bits of bearclaw flying out. Okay. So you’re up for #4. Annnd go!

Debbie: I told you…Oh never mind. What about writing yourself a weekly goal, like six thousand words a week? Would that help you get back into the swing of writing?

Laura: Is that #4?

Debbie: Holy crap. Have you had your caffeine today? Please try to keep up. We are trying to fix a problem here and help others out at the same time. Sheesh.

Laura: Yep. And people like lists cause they’re orderly and easy to remember.

Debbie: okay I give up. Here we go.

1.     Make yourself weekly realistic goals.

2.     Read. I always want to write after reading a good book.

3.     Make notes throughout your day. If something about your story comes to mind during the day, jot it down. Keeps you energy for your story going.

4.     Brainstorm. When we brainstorm together it always gets me jazzed up to write. Plus we are able to work through roadblocks much easier when we talk it out.

5.     Last but not least, WRITE! Just sit down and do it. If its been a while and you think it sounds like crap, then rewrite. But bottom line is if you don’t start now, you won’t do it tomorrow either.

Laura: Now you’re talking. There’s a list both new writers and established authors can live by.

Debbie: No thanks to you. And, no, strep throat is no excuse for flightiness. Take your meds, get caffeine and sleep (not necessarily in that order) and be ready to get back to business. I’m cracking down. This is your final warning.

Laura: Sure. (cough cough). I’m going to bed.

Debbie: Ummm, what about plugging our Friday release???

Debbie: Laura??? Helloooooo??? Why must I do everything? Well I’m only giving a teaser. You guys will have to tune back in on Friday for the excerpt and good stuff. Like maybe even a giveaway or two. HAHAHA! She’s gone to bed so, yeah, there will be two giveaways Friday. Teach her for going to bed. Sick smick.

Cover Reveal: #1NightStand Pararescuemen Return with Explosive Conditions @DecadentPub

LJ: It's always a good day when you get the cover for your next book. You look at it, the layout, the colors, the hot guy <g>, and wonder if it portrays the blood, sweat, and tears you worked into your story.

DEBBIE: Blood, sweat and tears, wasn't that a band back in your day?

LJ: Uhh. Back in my day? Honey, I’m a few months younger than you. So that would be back in “the” day or “our” day. LMAO As far as the cover we’re here to talk about is concerned, the answer for me is a resounding YES! The design really captures the essence of Staff Sergeant Zeke “Diz” Matthews’ story.

DEBBIE: Love, love, love it! Of course Decadent has awesome cover artists. We haven’t been let down yet! AND, Zeke is a hottttttie!

LJ: Yes he is! Intense. Strong. Determined. And the guy on the cover really conveys that, I think.

DEBBIE: Yessirreebob!

LJ: LMAO A bit enthusiastic there, aren’t we? Wonder what our readers think….

DEBBIE: Well, they’ll love it of course. They have great taste!

Twelve hours outside of Terra II, Colonel Kaleb Titan, a molecular geneticist and commander of the Ark faces a life or death choice that could change the fate of mankind.

The Genesis I, aka the Ark, travels with a hold full of wildlife and three crew members. When a wolf bite and genetically-altering gamma radiation transform Kaleb, he notices his senses have been heightened, his libido has gone haywire and he can’t keep his hands off his crew. Worse yet, they don't seem inclined to stop him.

When their sister ship, the Genesis II arrives early, Kaleb’s problems compound. As soon as the command crew of the Genesis II boards, one whiff tells Kaleb they’re not from Earth or who they appear to be.

When he discovers that they’ve kept the Genesis II’s crew of over two thousand alive, he begins to believe their reasons may be far more ominous than anyone could have imagined. However, he also discovers what’s holding them back. The hijackers seem to be allergic to canines.

Now they're forced to employ biological warfare against their own, but will it be enough to save humanity?

Excerpt:
The lift clanged to a stop and the door slid open. He stepped into the bay and headed for the quarters that housed the predators and his nemesis, Sheba. In a few hours, he could turn her over to the planet’s care and she’d no longer be his problem. It wouldn’t be soon enough.

He walked up on Jessica, peering over her shoulder into the cage at a snarling Sheba. The bitch caught sight of Kaleb and backed up with a whine, sinking to her belly.

“I’ll be,” Jessica muttered. “She’s submitting to you.” Her ponytail smacked him in the face as she turned. He flinched and knocked it out of his eyes.

“She’s not stupid.” He glared at Sheba, whose tail thumped against the floor. Her golden eyes studied him. “She knows I mean business.”

Jessica grinned. “I don’t think that’s it. I think she’s got a crush on you. She likes you.”

“What?”

“Sheba’s the alpha female. She doesn’t submit to anyone but the alpha male. Hence the reason she bit Lobo. He’s not alpha enough.” Jessica eyed Kaleb. “Apparently you are, sir.”

“Will she let me in the cage?”

Jessica shrugged. “She’s not growling, and we’ve got to try something. I’d hate to tranq her again. Use that catchpole over there with the loop in the end.”

He nodded and snagged the pole. One way or another, someone had to go in there. If Sheba liked him, it might as well be him. “Open the door when I say and get the tranq gun in case she gets ugly. First sign of aggression, put her out. I’d rather keep my arm.” He’d request they import another if this didn’t go well. He eyed the wolf. “Sorry, sweetheart, I have priorities. Just be a good girl, and everything will be fine.”

Jessica loaded a cartridge into the gun. “Ready?”

Kaleb nodded and Jessica opened the door. He stepped inside and it clanged shut behind him. “Hey, girl.”

With a growl that sounded more like a roar, Sheba launched from the corner. Her paws landed on his chest, knocking him to the floor. Kaleb only had seconds to register her open jaws and large teeth. He threw his forearm over his throat.

Sheba latched on, sinking into flesh. A crunch and then sharp pain shot up his arm. Oh, God. Her teeth had pierced bone.

“Shoot her!” The bitch shook her head side to side, shredding flesh, and wouldn’t stop until she’d ripped his arm off or torn out his throat. “Anytime…ahhh.” Crunch. Easing her grip and then clamping back down on another part of his arm, she backed up and tried to pull his limb from where he’d blocked her access to his jugular. It was the wolf or him. “Kill her!” Little flickers of light swam before his eyes as pain exploded through his body. “Now!”

The tranq popped and was followed by a yelp from Sheba, who released his arm and staggered back. Blood dripped from her muzzle and stained her white fur. She swayed and dropped to the floor with a snort. Her front paw dug at air as she fought the drug.

“Omigod.” Jessica threw the door open and rushed to his side. “You okay?”

Kaleb glanced at his blood-soaked sleeve. “She likes me, huh?” He cringed as pain radiated from his fingers to his shoulder. Last time he’d trust a smiling female. They were all trouble.

Jessica helped him to sit up and ripped his sleeve open, staring at the bite. Blood pumped from the wound and formed a puddle on the floor. “Can you walk to the med-bay?”

“Does it look like she bit my leg?” he snarled.

“It just looks like a lot of blood. Calm down or you’ll make it bleed faster.” Jessica glanced around for something to stanch the flow. Eying the heavy, water-resistant fabric of his jumpsuit, she groaned. “Where’s a bandage when you need one? Turn your head.”

“Why?”

“Just do it.”

Kaleb looked away and Jessica unzipped her jumpsuit. There was a rustle of fabric and he heard her zip back up. She pressed her tank against his arm. “Deluzio!” she called into the com. “I need you down in the predator bay, pronto.”

“No can do. Seems the debris is moving. We’ve got a minute before it’s on top of us. I have to launch this ship now or we’ll be soaking in radiation.”

“Roger.” Jessica rose and helped Kaleb to his feet. “Looks like we’re going to have to ride the jump out here, but we should be on the other side of these bars. If Lobo freaks, we could both be bleeding.”

Once outside, they leaned against the wall and braced for the Gs that would accompany their jump through hyperspace. Kaleb eyed the shirt Jessica held against his arm. “When we get through this jump, we’re going to have a conversation about what you’ve been wearing.”

“Why’s that, sir? This jumpsuit is regulation.”

“Going without a bra isn’t. That undershirt isn’t.” He glanced at Sheba’s sleeping form. “It’s damned distracting.”

“Oh. Right. You’re lucky I wore that shirt today. The fabric in our uniforms is too high-tech to absorb a damn thing, the bra is the most uncomfortable garment you can think of, and you don’t have to wear one. So are you out of regulation because you’re braless…sir?”

“You know damn good and well….” He turned to Jessica, who had raised a brow and now stared. At the moment, he felt like Lobo: FUBAR. Fucked up beyond all repair. Any amount of arguing would only dig him deeper. Next, she’d be asking him why he’d been looking. “Forget it.”

“Forget it? I don’t think so. You brought it up.” The ship lurched and slammed them back into the wall, knocking Jessica’s next words down her throat, where Kaleb hoped they’d stay. He really didn’t feel like explaining how or why he’d noticed. Some might consider that sexual harassment.

FUBAR. Yeah, that summed him up.

Excerpt:
....“Look, I’m not gonna lie to you.” He loosened his hold on her while he perused her face, settling on her mouth. “I wasn’t sure about this one-night thing to start with, but after seeing you…well, I can definitely follow through. No problem.” He shifted his attention to her face, the naked heat swirling in his baby blues causing her breath to catch. “But after what all you told me, I want you to know I get it. We can play this thing any way you want. Fast. Slow. Or I can just hold you.” He trailed his fingers up and down her arms, sending delicious tingles along her skin. “Though I’ll admit, that’s not my first choice.”
....She stared at him. God, he was such a gentleman. Without hesitating, she lifted onto her toes, wrapped her arms around his neck, crushed her mouth against his, and…holy crap, what a kiss! Her pulse jumped, her head spun. A fire sparked deep inside her, and her breath caught at the passion winding through her. She didn’t know what she’d been expecting exactly, but not anything like this.
....Before she melted into a puddle at his feet, she broke the kiss and gazed up at him. “Does that answer your question?”
....A sexy grin curved his lips. “Yes, ma’am.”
